Stanley C. Leong

Stanley C. Leong

“52 Fridays was built so advisors can work less, and make more.”

Nine years ago, Stan Leong looked successful on paper. As a solo advisor producing approximately $600,000 annually, his practice was growing, but so were his hours. He worked nights, weekends, vacations, and even during conferences. When he was home with his wife and two young daughters, he was often exhausted.

He knew something had to change.

Determined to build a better way, Stan immersed himself in external coaching programs, books, podcasts, and conversations with other advisors. He studied practice management, workflow design, and systems implementation with one goal in mind: creating a more efficient, scalable business.

The results were transformational.

Last year, Stan averaged just 34 hours per week, essentially taking every Friday off, while reaching $2 million in production with the same staff. By refining his workflows and implementing proven systems, he increased output without increasing hours. More importantly, he became more present at home, more energized, and more fulfilled both professionally and personally.

Now he helps other advisors achieve the same efficiency without the trial and error.

For more than two decades, Darien Tung has built and led a highly efficient, planning‑centric wealth management practice. Serving 180 client households and overseeing approximately $275 million in assets under management, Darien runs his firm with a lean, clearly defined team and a deliberate focus on systems and clarity.

Since 2009, Darien has intentionally operated on a four‑day workweek—averaging roughly 32 hours per week—while maintaining high service standards, strong client outcomes, and sustainable growth. His belief is simple: well‑designed systems create better results for clients, advisors, and teams.

Over the past 15 years, Darien has coached fellow advisors to improve practice efficiency, refine workflows, and redesign staff roles. What began as informal peer‑to‑peer guidance evolved into a repeatable approach as advisors consistently gained capacity, organization, and quality of life.

As Co‑Founder of 52 Fridays, Darien helps advisors step out of reactive mode and into intentional, scalable practice design—so success enhances their lives instead of consuming them.

Why We Built 52 Fridays

52 Fridays was built from experience—not theory.

Why Do Financial Advisors Feel Overworked, Even with a Successful Practice?
How Can Financial Advisors Grow Without Sacrificing Their Time?

Stanley Leong and Darien Tung spent years running successful financial advisory and financial planning practices that looked great on paper but required far more time and energy than they should have. Like many financial advisors and financial planners, they were taught how to grow revenue, but not how to build a financial advisory business that was truly sustainable long term.

Through different paths, they arrived at the same conclusion, efficiency is not optional for financial advisors who want longevity, scalability, and a better quality of life.

“By intentionally redesigning our workflows, service models, and team structures, we proved it was possible to grow production, improve client outcomes, and reclaim time, without adding staff or sacrificing quality.”

52 Fridays exists to help financial advisors and financial planners move from reactive to intentional. To build a financial advisory business that supports life outside the office, instead of consuming it.
